Good Movement is an active part of the GTA community. We take part in many youth-led initiatives and shed light on the issues of youth homelessness. If you want to get involved, contact us!
Good Movement has been privileged enough to take part in many workshops since we first began. These workshops have opened our eyes to the great work that many youth organizations are doing. We are proud to say that youth philanthropy is alive and well!
At workshops, Good Movement tables and gathers volunteers for future initiatives while teaching young people about the value of youth action and philanthropy. We have been invited to workshops by ACCESS Charity, The United Way of Peel Region, the Queen’s International Development Conference, York University and The Dufferin-Peel District School Board.

One of the fundamental principles of philanthropy is giving back. But this does not always have to be in the for of money. Youth shelters are always in need of various items. The less money that a shelter can spend on personal hygiene products or clothes, the more they can spend on housing and food for the young people they serve nightly. By realizing this need, youth can mobilize and bring about great change within the community.
Good Movement holds two donation drives each year.

Being involved within the community is a big part of Good Movement. In fact, being a member of the executive team requires community service hours. Our members have organized teams of volunteers to take part in various community projects that range from park building in Mississauga to canvassing in Toronto.
Not only are these opportunities fun — they help people. What could be better than that?
